Work

The removal of asbestos is always precarious work. Certainly if the installation is only accessible by water. This was the case at ADM in the Europoort.
The jack-up platform provided a stable base, so that the asbestos-containing sheets of the conveyor belts on the pier could be replaced safely with the help of an aerial platform.

Our landing vessel Sam also came into action to transport the jack-up platform to the site and for the various movements at ADM. The Sam also provided accommodation for the jacking engineer. Because of the COVID-10 pandemic, this was a requirement.
