Sassenplaat

Work

In front of the Moerdijk port lies the Sassenplaat, an area that is only accessible by boat. This nature reserve is also pruned from time to time. To carry out the pruning work, equipment was needed, which was hoisted on board with the deck crane of our landing craft Sam at the Moerdijk industrial estate. The winter conditions presented no problems whatsoever for mooring the landing vessel at the Sassenplaat and unloading the equipment.

Harbour lights Hook of Holland

For the conservation of the harbour lights at Hoek van Holland, the jack-up platform served as accommodation and 'entrance' to the work site.

All the components for the work were put on board the crane vessel at the shipyard and taken to the Hartelkering.
